Canva Pro: Edu sponsor account vs Individual — what you actually lose

Canva Pro is sold in Bangladesh at two very different prices, and the difference is not a discount — it is a different product.

**Edu sponsor account (from ৳100).** A seat on an education account. You get every premium design element, the premium fonts, the whole template library, Canva’s AI tools within limits, all the Canva apps and Magic Studio. This is enough for almost all design work.

What you do not get: video generation, font upload, the Brand Kit, website publishing, and unlimited asset storage.

**Individual (৳4,500 a year).** The full Pro plan on your own account, with everything above included.

Which to buy: if you are making social posts, presentations and documents, the Edu plan does the job and costs a fortieth of the price. If you are running a brand and need your own fonts and Brand Kit locked in, pay for Individual — the Edu plan will frustrate you within a week.

One thing to check before you buy from anyone: ask whether the Edu account is a seat on a sponsor team or a password to somebody else’s login. A seat is fine. A shared password is not, and it will be gone within the month.
